Catalyst Communications Group Adds Media Leader Matt Borek to Expanding Team
Catalyst Communications Group, a leading media relations and consulting firm, proudly announces the addition of Matt Borek as a Media and Public Affairs Consultant. With more than 22 years of broadcast, digital media content creation, and management, Borek will enhance Catalyst’s capabilities to deliver strategic media relations and public affairs services to its diverse client base.

Borek joins Catalyst Communications Group from Scripps and his recent role as the Managing Director of the Florida 24 Network, where he oversaw brand development, revenue, and content for the statewide news channel. During his leadership, Florida 24 Network expanded its coverage by integrating news content from multiple Florida markets, including a strategic partnership with Cox Media Group. Previously, he was the Digital Director at WFTS-TV in Tampa, leading digital strategy, and content development.

Borek has been honored with multiple Emmy nominations, and awards from the Associated Press for Best Continuing Coverage, Best Election Coverage, and Best Web Site.
