SABRINA HENNESSEY
Sabrina Hennessey (Feher) brings more than 15 years of experience in journalism to the Catalyst Communications team, where she now specializes in media relations and public affairs. Her passion for storytelling began early—at just 15, she started working in television through the Center for Advanced Technologies at Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg.
That passion took her to the University of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications while reporting and producing for the university’s radio and television stations, as well as WCJB TV20 News. Sabrina launched her professional career at WEAR-TV in Pensacola before returning home to Tampa Bay, where she spent more than a decade producing news for WTSP 10 Tampa Bay and News Channel 8.
An Emmy and Edward R. Murrow Award-winning producer, Sabrina has produced thousands of live newscasts covering major national and local events including the BP oil spill, multiple hurricanes, elections, and the COVID-19 pandemic. She’s also produced high-profile specials and broadcasts—from Olympic coverage to Tampa’s iconic Gasparilla Parade and championship boat parades for the Lightning and Buccaneers.
At Catalyst, Sabrina leverages her deep newsroom experience and long-standing relationships in the media to help clients earn meaningful press coverage. She knows what makes a story newsworthy and how to position her clients’ work and expertise in ways that resonate with journalists and the public alike—securing opportunities that elevate their profiles and amplify their impact.
Outside of her work in communications, Sabrina is dedicated to promoting physical and mental well-being. She teaches group fitness classes at Studio Physique in St. Petersburg, combining her love for community engagement with a passion for health and wellness.
A Tampa Bay native, Sabrina grew up on St. Pete Beach and now lives in Bradenton with her husband and two stepdaughters.
